Jeep Wrangler Unlimited NIGHT Edition? The Two Options Every Jeep Owner Should Consider

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited NIGHT Edition? The Two Options Every Jeep Owner Should Consider
Over the Christmas holiday I decided to finally get a couple things added to my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 10th Anniversary edition.

One is a common addition that a lot of Jeeper's do but the other is something I never knew was available for the Wrangler.

And I'm sure most Wrangler owners don't know either.

1. Special Warn Winch 10th Anniversary Edition with Red Fairlead and Red Hook
2. Mopar Interior Ambient Lighting Kit

I saw the ambient light kit in a Mopar brochure in the waiting room of my Jeep dealer, Orange Coast Auto in Capistrano so I called my friends at Chrysler and had them send me one.

And I think you'll see in the photos which by the way are the first ones I've ever seen of one of these kits installed in a Wrangler that it's pretty cool.

There is a little switch that I had them mount below the drivers dash and all you do is push it to activate it and continue pushing it to cycle through the color choices. There are two levels of brightness on each color.

Colors are Red, Gold, Blue, Purple, Fuscia, Green and White light.

The kit retails for around $325 (plus labor) and I think it is well worth it. Makes the Wrangler look even cooler at night.

Special thanks to Chrysler, Mopar, Warn Industries and Orange Coast Auto Of Capistrano for the parts and labor

Time to take the airbag warning tag off the glove box.

Didn't they feature the lighting system on "Pimp my Ride"?...sorry, no disrespect intended.

Lighting in the foot-wells is a gimmick, unless your feet are afraid of the dark or you have a fetish.

Lighting looks ok, but I would prefer a 5000K WHITE light or nothing at all.
