This will be another huge hit for Audi. Just as the Audi Q5 has risen to become the best-selling vehicle in its segment, ahead of both the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLK, the Audi Q3 will outsell both the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

With the Q3, Audi is building on the strength of the Q5 and delivering essentially the same car in a smaller package and providing lots of standard features.

Audi is on a roll and going from success to success.

Even comparably equipped the Q3 will likely cost less as MB charges extra for leather, probably $1800. Also cost of ownership, both BMW (hard to get a deal on any) and Audi have free scheduled maintenance. The GLA will likely be the priciest and not the prettiest or the best value.

when did Audi begin offering free maintenance? I have heard of packages to upgrade at a cost but not free and even if they are free they are likely not including brakes

Yawn...another bland Mobile from Audi,I'm sure it will sell in the States as Audi's SUV the Q5, like Lexus RX, are more popular than their sedan stable mates.

While "Cute Utes" aren't my thing I'd probably opt for the GLA, again, Benz is rewarded for coloring outside the lines sometime.

nope, imo the Q3 is a nice idea but an ugly design...

The designers at Audi are either lazy or overcautious. The exterior looks so much like a Q5. No nascent imagination has gone into the exterior design. I would opt for the GLA especially in AMG form or the Porsche Macan. It's worth paying extra to get away from Audi's stale, stagnant, boring design!

You obviously haven't heard that Audi is going to unveil a new, significantly more aggressive and differentiated exterior design strategy.

GermanNut, nice try at a rebuttal but ultimately falls completely flat as the car could be launched with this all new design language but alas it isn't
