DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Kia's GT4 Stinger Concept Makes A Helluva FIRST Impression — Shots LEAK Out

As I settle in at the Cobo Hall media room at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), I start flipping through the wires to see what broke early. Turns out one car we've been particularly interested in seeing, the Kia GT4 Stinger, had shots leak out this morning.

And if we're honest, it's a pretty damn good looking vehicle.

With its wide mouth grille and large LEDs running up the facade, there's no mistaking it for something else. Check out those fenders that look pretty Audi R8-inspired to us and the clamshell roof a la Nissan GT-R and the remarkable Koenigsegg.

Though the interior shot doesn't give us a great look at the center console and center stack, it's pretty clear it's following a European vibe with a Spartan approach.

Kia has no shame, with the exception of the normal doors, a blatant rip of the Saab Aero X.

God damn that's ugly. It's clear from these pics they didn't copy anything from the R8 and it shows, Korean talent when they have to do it from scratch.
