I imagine it's going to be pretty hard to top the 2015 Ford F-150 when it comes to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) debuts. There's two reasons for this:
1) The all-new F-150 is a SIGNIFICANT leap forward with its aluminum construction — contributing to substantial weight savings — focus on a more refined cabin and technological advancements over its competition.
2) This is a volume product. Have you ever seen the F-Series NOT in the Top 10 most sold cars, annually?
That said, we have located the first video clip of the all-new F-150 in action. Check it out below.
Buyers will have the choice of a new, naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 as standard, while the 2.7 will slot in above it. The 5.0-liter V8 remains, while the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 has finally knocked off Ford's bad-boy 6.2-liter V8, which will no longer be offered on the F-150.
