DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Get A Load Of The Lexus RC F's Interior — Ready To Take On The AMGs, Ms and RS' Of The World?
Oh, did you think we were done yet with the all-new Lexus RC F? Nope, there's still more to cover at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS). That's because in the last RC F thread we didn't show you the INTERIOR.

Looking the part of a hardcore sports car, the RC F's interior space has essentially what you'd expect for an Audi RS5, BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG competitor. That would include a sweet pair of sport seats, a cockpit fit for someone looking to really focus on driving and a touch of carbon fiber for that sporting environment.

But will that be enough to bring it over the top when it comes to market?

We think the interior will be the least of its concerns as most enthusiasts are going to want that certain steering feel, throttle response and handling that the BMW M3 — now M4 — has brought to the market ages ago. The car wars are definitely going to heat up.

In the meantime, let us know what you think of the RC F's interior below...

Not loving the dash. It has five tiers to it - - - looks more like a book shelf rather than a cockpit.

Can't get past those seats. They might look better in a different color.

The new Audi dash layout (intro'd for the upcoming TT) makes this look like the interior of a hoarder. Just so many plains and levels. And that steering wheel is godawful ugly and busy. Granted, it's much better than the 3Series interior, but this just feel all that inviting.

look terrible. Again, scimping on everything. The dash bubbles all over the place look inconsistent. no flow to the interior. no thigh support/extender, no bolster adjustments. typicaly cost cutting by the asians and wont stack up to german engineering.

of course all of the articles are going to try and say it is so close and better than the germans, but thats because toyota lines their pockets.

Way to busy and cheap looking. To much plastic used every where especially the push buttons so because of that it looks more like the interior of a top of the line Corolla. Most of the new cars in this segment/price range are using nice looking/designed, light weight metal and trim to make the interior look and feel more refined and more sophisticated so Lexus certainly missed the mark big time with this interior.
