Is Tesla Replacing The Prius As The Car Of Choice For Tree Hugging Celebrities?

The Tesla Model S is the new Toyota Prius when it comes to celebrities and if the Japanese hybrid was the car of choice for tree huggers until recently, the American ride has taken its place. Eva Longoria loves her not so fuel efficient cars but that didn’t stop the 38-year old woman into adding a brand new Tesla Model S to her garage, as she is the last of a long list of celebrities who have chosen the impressive vehicle.

The Tesla is a drivers car, I hope the celebrities don't give it a bad image.

Buying an expensive NEW car doesn't 'save trees'. Celebrities who believe this are pathetic.

Do they consider all the oil which must be drilled, shipped, then mixed with other chemicals and cured into plastic? All the ore which must be mined or otherwise procured from recyclers then laboriously processed into alloys for all the various metals?

Celebrities could buy a used car. That doesn't kill any trees. Buy they don't, of course... all because a few people still buy DVDs and pay $13 see movies in theaters, which is apparently enough to pay them way more than they deserve for their mediocre performances.
