Is The CLS63 S AMG Worth The $117,000 That Mercedes-Benz Is Asking?
Underneath its four-door coupe styling, the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 S AMG is really an E63 AMG. You see, the CLS itself is based on the same platform as the E-Class. Some say its sleeker styling is prettier than that of the more traditional E-Class. Others are quick to point out the downsides such as less rear visibility. Whatever your personal design preferences may be, the CLS63 S AMG is certainly one fast car.

I'd say absolutely. And the $117k price is probably for the S-Model. The starting price for the E63 AMG 4Matic is $92k. Add options, and it's not much less than the CLS63. In comparison, the M6GC has a price STARTING at $115k.

It might be to someone but not to me. $117K and drive it off the lot and you'll be crying. Am sure its amazing, with no room in the back seat and all... no its not for me. $117K buys alot of cars.... this wouldn't be one of them...

Not sure about paying $117K, but the AMG CLS is beautiful.

CLS63SAMG what a STUPID name for this car. If you're a baller, rapper, pimp, or drug dealer...then yes it's worth it to throw money at this. If your taste is not solely in your mouth, then it's utterly laughable.

Not any different than paying the following starting prices:
- $132K for a BMW Alpina B7
- $115K for a BMW M6 Gran Coupe
- $113K for an Audi S8
- $113K for a Panamera GTS

No, that is way too overpriced.

Buy Lexus GS F-Sport and save yourself over 50k. And GS basically over-delivers value.

Well, it would be a good value but all the money you'd spend having to wash off all the dust from the CLS63 blowing you away at stoplights would counter that value. Then again, the dust might improve the GS' completely anonymous looks.

Ask the dealers that don't have any in stock if customers think they are "worth it".

Just drive an AMG if you never had the chance, and you'll see why they are worth it over the standard model. From the exhaust note to the power & handling. you'll be crying why you don't have enough in the check book.

To all the owners who do have one, they thought the price was worth it also.

Worth it? Not to me. I like the M6 and RS7 more.

JDMUSMuscle - you're not serious are you... a pathetic Lexus vs this car.... I'd never pay that much for this car, but I'd never spend a nickel on a soul-less, Toyota. They're refrigerators..

Sorry to spoil the party but the headlights are too small and the grill is too large. I would take the BMW M5 anyday over this.
