Fiat 500 Based Baby Jeepster Caught Winter Testing In Europe

The new Nissan Juke-rivalling Jeep, thought to be called Jeepster, has been spied testing wearing its final production body. It reveals the compact proportions and chunky styling set to be shown in full at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The bosses at Jeep say that it takes inspiration from the iconic Wrangler, suggesting that it will have less of the flowing design of the recently revealed Cherokee, and would be altogether more rugged.

This is a pure growth segment. I am perplexed that the Ford Ecosport and the Chevy Trax are not on the market in the USA already. They scream success. The Jeepster--if it is drop dead good looking and not another Cherokee mess--will sell gangbusters.
