Production Images Of Toned Down Turbocharged Lexus LF-NX Leak Out
Images of the final production version of the dramatic Lexus LF-NX concept have been leaked online, months ahead of the Range Rover Evoque rival's official debut.

The pictures, which appeared in a presentation given by Toyota North America CEO James Lentz, show a production model resembling a toned-down version of the original concept. The model is tipped to take the NX name for production, slotting in below the larger RX SUV in Lexus's line-up.

The NX will be based on the architecture of the Toyota RAV4 and will offer hybrid power as well as a new 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine - Lexus's first - which Lentz confirmed at the presentation.

We've seen hideous pics of the prototype, now we see hideous pics of the product in the flesh. Way to go Lexus... a new low in automotive visuals. Absolutely Hideous, it could star in the next Predator vs Alien...

And yet, still considered as "better" brand than the garbage Cadillac.

Cadillac wishes it could at least have the success that Hyundai enjoys, but that is only a dream.

Btw, I was wondering, do you think the ATS looks nice?

Because it looks like a chick car.

I miss the good old days of the Celica, Corolla, Hi-Lux, Land Cruiser and Crown. I wish Toyota went back to that. What's happening now, especially with Lexus is awful and damaging to Toyota as a whole.

Will probably steal sales from RX. Showdown with Acura RDX.

Go big or go home, Lexus. The LF-NX concept was at least interesting and stylistically much edgier than the Evoque. This is cowardice.

I thought the LF-NX concept was a awful, hideous joke to throw us off BUT NO this disaster is actually gonna be real and pollute our roads with major ugliness and more bad and tastelessness designs from Lexus. That grill is really, really uber bad, worst than any of the ugly grills on the current Lexus cars out now. Toyota CEO and Lexus you fired. I totally agree with — carsnyc I wish Toyotas would like nice again like the old models did.

Looks like a mini RX. Given RX is the top selling premium SUV, should be a market hit. Key will be pricing this between RAV4 and RX.

Headline should say 'Production Image'. The article has 3 of the exact same shot of the 'prod' vehicle in it.

I would like to see the other angles of this 'production' ready vehicle. It looks interesting. The translation from concept is certainly more palatable.

JDMUSMuscle - using your mom's laptop again? From the amount of comments supporting what I've commented vs your tripe, well we all know you're just 15 and no one takes you seriously.

So ugly it will scare old people, which unfortunately is their core market.
