This is a really good idea for the dealer network and should be marketed heavily. Ford has the expertise from its Jaguar ownership (The reason Jag & Land Rover are doing so well is a direct result of Ford) so to lead this market into this new frontier, is Ford continuing to lead in this segment. My Uncle has owned an auto body shop for 25 years, and he has exclusive contracts with several dealers in the town where he works. Every year there are contract bidding wars amongst 'mom and pop' shops since dealers do not have auto body facilities. And today, auto body shops are hi-tech...not just a building with a bunch of garage doors...they have all the painting booths. They have to in order to be competitive. Dealers are not going to want to go to the expense of retrofitting their facilities for this limited amount of work.

Just how do truckers get 'ready for aluminum'?
