Here's a good look of how all the color combinations look on the new 3-series coupe, complete with trim choices.

I love the Dakota Red!

poplar gray/cream leather,.
or aluminium/black.
the red's a bit too "porn star" imo.

Rupert: I like grey/cream too.
efox: It's kind of weird if you say you have a car with brown seats. They might get the wrong idea.

Red leather and wood is a horrible idea. Red should be either Alum or carbon fiber.

Though Piano Black would be a nice finish if BMW offered it.

I just ordered the 335i, metallic silver exterior, should have it by 2nd week of Sept. I originally wanted only black ext w/ leather and burl interior. But I realized that beige leather and burl trim, while nice, is the same interior that my mom has on her Infiniti, and she's an "old lady". So I got the much sportier black leather w/ brushed aluminum. For $50k, I'm sure it will be very nice.

Thinking about Crimson Red/Sadl Brwn leather and Grey wood trim. What do you guys think? Personally, I feel as if it would look sporty but a few friends keep telling me that Red would look feminine.

honestly, i hate brown leather and red paint, so your combo isn't a winner.
red won't help when you try to sell it, and i don't think it's sporty.
stick with grey, silver, blue or black on the outside, red, black or cream on the inside.
black with red leather is pretty cool.
and if people are worried about buying the same colour as everyone and being viewed as a sheep, why are they buying a 3 series in the first place?

guys... you can do all the configuring you want on the bmwusa.com website. Too bad we dont get the Individual Program here in the states. The piano black wood trim is pretty hot with beige interior.
