CHICAGO AUTO SHOW PREVIEW: Another Look Back Before Tomorrow Kicks Off

CHICAGO AUTO SHOW PREVIEW: Another Look Back Before Tomorrow Kicks Off
Tomorrow marks the start of the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. After having the monster Detroit Auto Show, it seems like all of the big-time automakers essentially displayed all the heavy metal in the Motor City.

BUT, once and a while there's a surprise or two that come along the way in the Windy City.

Once known as "the truck show," over the years we've seen it morph a bit into a truck and muscle car show. We've seen the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Saleen bring out a slew of Mustangs here. This year it seems pretty quiet. So, we're hoping for some surprises.

That's something the auto biz hasn't given us in a really long time.

The only two things I am aware of are the following:

- Subaru Legacy
- Toyota TRD Pro portfolio

Have YOU heard of anything else making its way to Chi-town?

We'll see soon enough!

Until then, enjoy some shots Agent 001 culled together from our very deep archives...

Chicago is truly one of the best cities in the world.

And truly, all the greatest cities in the world are all in the United States of America.

And by the way, I see a BMW M6 over there. I wonder how many Made in China parts are in that car, as Germans really love to cut costs and overprice the cars they build. When will they ever learn from the Japanese?

And the new M6, it really is one boring looking car, too.

btw, I am looking forward to the new Lincoln Navigator, which seems like a real homerun. Ford = Best :)
