Mercedes-Benz To Slash Incentives As Demand Rises

Daimler AG Chief Executive Officer Dieter Zetsche said the automaker plans to lower sales incentives on Mercedes-Benz vehicles and raise prices on some models as demand outstrips supply.

Zetsche told analysts Friday that he expects “pricing to improve significantly” this year, and that in every market he visits he receives pleas from dealers to provide more of the automaker’s compact cars such as the new CLA coupe.

Fourth-quarter deliveries for Mercedes’s small vehicles climbed 44 percent, while demand for the revamped flagship S- Class surged 43 percent. Stuttgart, Germany-based Daimler forecast Thursday that 2014 operating profit from ongoing operations will greatly exceed the 7.9 billion euros ($10.7 billion) achieved last year on demand for the new GLA compact sport-utility vehicle and redesigned C-Class sedan.

Making more and more unreliable POS with Beijing Benz, and raising the prices, in order to squeeze more profit out of their overpriced products.

I bet soon, most of Mercedes cars will be built in China, as Beijing Benz seems to be helping Mercedes-Benz greatly after all. BMW, pretty much the same.

I apologize on behalf of the Mercedes-Benz Owner who left your bland Toyota with leather/wood AKA Lexus in a cloud of dust, exhaust, and rubber at the light.

I apologize on behalf of the Mercedes-Benz Owner who got better treatment than your bland Toyota with leather/wood AKA Lexus at your neighborhood Car wash, Parking garage, and Valet

Finally, apologize on behalf of the Mercedes-Benz Owner who was able to stop at that Red light that your faulty Toyota with leather/wood AKA Lexus could not stop at due to a sudden acceleration and inability to use it's ABS Brakes(Pioneered by Benz) and instead had to rely on its Crumple Zones(Pioneered by Benz).

For that, your welcome.

You don't need to apologize. Actually, I feel sorry for you, only.

Because I bet you drive a B class or C class or Made in China E class that is meant to be overpriced.

And I don't even drive a Toyota by the way. But it's true, though. There is a reason why Toyota is number 1.

No need to apologize, since I feel bad that you drive a Made in China car proudly.

LOL. "Made in" and "Engineered and designed in" are two VERY different things.
