CHICAGO AUTO SHOW: ANOTHER Look At The Toyota FT1 — Could This Be The HOTTEST Concept Of 2014?

CHICAGO AUTO SHOW: ANOTHER Look At The Toyota FT1 — Could This Be The HOTTEST Concept Of 2014?
When Toyota dropped the FT1 on us at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), our jaws dropped. Not only had this major automaker kept the car a complete secret from the press, it was an amazing looking product, inside and out.

It's like a Lexus LFA met the 1990s Toyota Supra and bumped pelvis'.

Although I am not so smitten with the Ferrari Enzo/Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR nose cone, I think I can deal with it. So far no word has leaked out on whether or not something like this could see the light of day but if I am not mistaken, i think a lot of folks are hoping the next-gen Supra looks something like this. Considering the latest word seems to indicate the Supra is a "go," let's cross our fingers.

Until then, enjoy the FT1.

Very fugly looking! That F1 front end just isn't working for me with that large curvy Jimmy Durante nose job + what's up with that huge Bangle butt shaped back end!

Great looking from the side. But the front and back ends? What were they thinking . . . I understand the F1 concept, but such a convoluted interpretation!

Another amazing looking sportscar from Toyota.

Better styling compared to Audi R8.
Better performance compared to BMW M3.
Better reliability compared to every European junk.

And yet, a lot cheaper than any of those overpriced junk.

Toyota is truly the number 1 automaker in the world.

Most likely because you can't afford maintenance.

I bet that European car of yours is Volkswagen

This car is ugly, too contrived, not a natural expression. Its trying too hard to be something. The LFA was much better but still garish. At any price, fugly.

For a fool like you, any Toyota is ugly, and nothing but an appliance.

Enjoy your Made in China Mercedes-Benz E class, and already-failed-hard ATS.
