STUD or DUD: Did THIS Owner Just RUIN A BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Or Is It HOT?

STUD or DUD: Did THIS Owner Just RUIN A BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe Or Is It HOT?
From today's episode of "When Owners Attack, Part Three — Bad Wheels" we bring to you an all-new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. Equipped with what appears to be an Alpine White exterior complemented with a gray interior and M Sport package, it's a pretty neat ride.

That is, until you look down a wee bit further.

That's because this 6-Series is sporting a set of white wheels that appear to be two or three-piece in design. Now, I happen to love multi-piece wheels when done right. But, if I am honest, these look like a pair of knock off Lorinsers or something.

I don't like being a hater but people have to realize a couple of things:

1) You can't just throw any rim on any car. It doesn't always work.

2) If you're going to do it, do it right. This car needs a little drop to accompany this guy/girl's latest acquisition.

Am I right or am I wrong?

Is this BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe a STUD or a DUD with this wheel/tire combination?
What say you, Spies?

That's basically how BMW should look like. Ghetto style design is basically what BMW has become.

On the other hand, Lexus is laughing at it with their beautiful RC-F.

If you pay for it, you can make it whatever you want it to be. There are a lot of after-market wheels that look crappy. You can view any forum site for any make and see questionable taste for how people change up their vehicles. It's not always an improvement.

Well...I have seen much much much worse. I am not a fan of body color rims; but its not mine to be a fan of. So I'll say he didn't ruin it - but I definitely would not have gone that route.

Mercedes and BMW are perfect for the ghetto and the 6GC is the perfect car for the job.

wow, the fascination with the ghetto on here makes me believe these people may actually be obsessed.

Who new the ghetto has so much influence over such small minded, insecure people.

America's Trailer Parks don't get half the attention...then againg their vehicles of choice are decked out pick ups, Cadillacs ,and double wides

When I was younger the first thing I changed on all my cars were the wheels...now I'm not so sure. Is it age, becoming more sophisticated or that outlandish wheels used by some redefined the enthusiast clan my self image feels most comfortable with ? Who knows, it is what it is.

factory rims look WAY better than they used to.

Let's not forget, it wasn't too long ago that everyone had hub caps on steel wheels.

Some of the best looking wheels on the market are OEM BMW wheels.

Current factory wheels also generally match the styling theme of the vehicle.

To each his or her own. Who are we to judge what others' tastes are just because they may not be our tastes. We should leave it at that.

Sorry, but tacky mods are not bound by geography.

In my opinion, these wheels detract from the overall look, but fortunately, it can be fixed easily.
