After that BMW 2-Series Active Tourer thingymajig, I had to just bring us back to reality with a BMW that's closer to the heritage. Actually, I lied.

The BMW X6M is not close to the brand's history at all.

But it is a helluva lot of fun, I will say that. The outgoing model has BMW M3 (E46) performance but has A LOT more space and is quite comfortable. And it looks great. What's there NOT to like?

Now that the all-new X5 has been released it's only a matter of time before the all-new X6 and, of course, the X5M and X6M.

Compared to the
standard BMW X6, the M variant features a redesigned front and rear bumper, lowered suspension, bigger brakes and wheels and a quad-exit exhaust system - like that found on the previous X6 M and current-gen M cars.

Power will be provided by a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8, as found in the M5, producing around 553bhp and 500lb ft. The current model's V8 outputs 547bhp and 500lb ft...
