Toyota Recalls 261,114 Lexus And Toyota Models For Stability Control Issues
Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 261,114 Lexus and Toyota brand vehicles in the United States because various safety systems, including stability control and anti-lock brakes, could become inoperative.

I am not really seeing a lot of Toyota and Lexus cars around here anymore. I wonder how Toyota will recover from this?

Come On Lexus/Toyota, Mercedes gave you the Blueprint for ABS brakes and Stability control over a decade ago and you guys are still working it out???

Invest less in that Spindle Grill and more in Engineering

Whatever, too much electronics between the driver and the car. I can only imagine the nightmare in 5 years, by all makers. I expect similar recalls from MB and BMW shortly. All the big boys share electronic component suppliers, whether it's Bosch or Siemens, the actual electronic components are not made by the auto company themselves.

Good to see component issues identified and fixed for customers before they cause problems. This is the way of the future others should follow, instead of waiting for a crisis or government mandate.

That's what we get for telling companies to find the cheapest part made with the cheapest labour.

It's the stupid race to sell the most cars in the world. What does it really mean if you leave everything else behind?
