Surprising considering Hyundai's recent push upmarket. I'll give it to Toyota for at least protecting Lexus dependability which to date is the brands strongest argument to it's German and American rivals

LOL keep up man, Hyundai also has the Equus and the Genesis, next in line is the Sonata, and Im surprised Hyundai would overlook quality/dependability in their highest selling model, while simultaneously targeting the upscale market.

After 3 years of production, initial quality problems should mostly be sorted out. This is the weakness of Hyundai that keeps me with Toyota and Honda models.

Though their styling has improved considerably in recent years, I wouldn't be caught dead in one of their crappy cars. The same with Kia. I'll take a Honda or Toyota anyday over a Hyundai or Kia. And I can hardly take someone seriously driving an Equus as being successful in life because they took the cheap way out in purchasing a so called upmarket car.
