If you're in the market for an all-new set of wheels, you may want to give General Motors a look in March. Not necessarily because it has the BEST products but because there will be some killer deals if the news we've been seeing rings true.
According to a report from Automotive News, the company is slated to start handing out deals that essentially will be offering supplier pricing for most of its lineup. Of course, included in these deals are its large pickup trucks. In one example cited by the story, you can save MORE than $6,500 for a two-wheel drive Silverado 1500 equipped with the All Star Edition package.
If you ask us, it doesn't seem like much of an All Star if it needs such massive incentives.
If that wasn't enough, a Wall Street analyst has spoken up about how dreadful the launch of the all-new large pickups has gone for General Motors saying it has been the least successful launch in over 15 years.
Considering how bleak the GM product lineup is — as we've pointed out, there is no true VOLUME seller — this is not painting a rosy picture. Also keep in mind, the all-new Ford F-150 hasn't even arrived yet.
So, it appears danger is imminent.
What can SAVE GM at this point? It sure as hell won't be the ELR...
