Not surprising. When we were shopping, the Honda salespeople were more interested in selling regular Civics than they were about answering questions about the Insight and Civic hybrid.

The first Insight looked like something Citroen would do and it was simply not a viable product to replace a conventional car with. From the get go, the Prius WAS. When Honda did their Me-Too-Prius aka the 2nd Insight, they produced a car that was horrible to drive with Third World attention to quality, and the Prius has always been a quality product.
