GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: FIRST Look At The 2015 Ford Focus — Ford Fighting For The Handling Crown
Although it seems like the Ford Focus was recently just launched, it's actually been quite a bit of time. In fact, it's time for a refresh. So, that's exactly what Ford has done for the 2015 model year.

According to reports I've read, Ford is making a concentrated effort to earn the "handling crown" back from Volkswagen who has taken it away with the Golf. Of course this means that the Blue Oval has done much more work to the vehicle than simply change a bunch of body panels and revamp its headlights and taillights.

Whether or not it'll win is beyond us at the moment. Considering how good the all-new MKVII Golf and Golf GTI are being received, I reckon Ford's got its work cut out for itself.

Check out the images below to see its updated look and watch the clip to see Autocar's exclusive images.

The new Ford Focus will retain its position as the best handling car in its class, according to Ford bosses. The 2015 Ford Focus will feature a raft of chassis tweaks as well as a number of new panels. See here it in Autocar's exclusive images.

Ford needs to make a Focus ST sedan to battle the Jetta GLI. The Focus ST hatchback is a better car than the GTI. It gives nearly equal handling and performance for thousands less than a comparable GTI and with superior Ford reliability. I'd also love for them to drop the Fiesta sedan and replace it with a Fiesta-based coupesedan called the Escort.
