Tremendously consistent growth for Audi and indicative of true momentum in the important U.S. market.

The A3 Sedan will hit dealers end of this month so look for March's figures to improve further over last year's figures.

Still loving my high quality craftsmanship interior in my Audi 6er. I'm also looking forward to the new A4 and S4 just around the corner. By then, I might be ready to trade the 6er in for a new S4.

Wow, 4 more vehicles, what a towering achievement, and that's coming off a low base compared to its competitors in the US.

@gkearns56 Just a thought, but your posts are always the same, reminding people you have an A6... which leads people to believe you have to remind them because you don't actually have one... which leads people to believe that you're a teenager, sitting in his parent's basement.

Also, someone has to correct your use of "A6er" which is incorrect. The Audi A6 is known, in English and German simply as the "A6".

The "er" you're using denotes "Series" in German, used by BMW for its 5-series for example, "5er", in German. Much as "Klasse" denotes "Class" for Mercedes.

You cannot simply transfer the "er" or "series" to an Audi nomenclature to make it sound as if you know something about German cars, as you have claimed in the past. You look ridiculous.

By saying "A6er" every time you re-paste you're usual post, you are saying in English my "A6 Series" which is not how it's described in German or English. It's just an A6. Maybe if you had one you'd know :)

Technically, you could use "A6er" to describe the whole A6 range or line-up as a plural but not as a singular.

Just thought you should know.

Also, I'm glad you're imaginary interior is great, it would have to be considering most A6's sold Globally are front-wheel drive with small engines that are not as good in terms of performance and fuel efficiency as their competitors, hence not nearly as fun to drive. Suppose they have to make up somewhere.

So, here's the danger for Audi. Their high-volume car, the A4 is on a downturn, as are a good portion of their lineup. And the A4 re-design has just been pushed back. Audi will really need for the A3 to take up the slack, but that might mean that they'll still end up flat as the A3 sales will offset the A4 lost sales. The new TT isn't a volume driver. Luckily for Audi, the A6 is carrying the burden right now, otherwise, they would be in the red for the year.

While both Mercedes and BMW have upcoming volume drivers (C and GLA, 2 Series and 4 Series variants), outside of the A3, Audi doesn't really have anything upcoming to drive units. Again, the A3 may offset some of the A4's losses so not sure it'll give the boost Audi wants/needs (in the US).

The A3 Sedan is expected to have huge demand and Audi would rather sacrifice some sales today if it can spend some extra time to ensure the 2015 A4 will be an amazing car and deliver extremely strong sales in the future.

Don't forget the aging Q7 is still experiencing strong sales growth and the biggest volume seller, the Q5 is still ahead of last year's sales on a YTD basis by 6.3%

Also of importance is the fact that the Audi Q3 is coming to the U.S. in Q3 2014 and if it can manage to outsell the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA like the Audi Q5 has outsold the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLK, Audi will be just fine for the year as a whole.
