2015 Hyundai Sonata Caught Undressed On The Factory Floor

If you can’t wait until March 24 to watch the official Launch Event of the All-New Hyundai Sonata (codenamed LF), here you can see new pictures completely undisguised, this time at Hyundai’s plant.

In new spy photos the 2015 Sonata shows off the complete front end, with the new front headlights, new grille and fog lamps. The Sonata LF shows also a side view and two colour comparison. In the other model with cammo, spy photographers said that it was a 2.0 T-GDi 274 hp variant including the first time seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission DCT (debut at the Geneva Motor Show few days ago).

hmmm... I expected more from the profile but it now looks more like a hatchback. Interior is a step up...exterior not so much

This car looks better than the model it replaces but it doesn't make the same impact its predecessor did. That car broke new ground for the brand. Front end is resembling the revised Genesis, so they're moving the bread & butter to their more upscale in appearance....sort of what Mercedes did with the CLA and the S Coupe'.. same front end. Suppose that gives it "gravitas" to make up for its weakness's. Of course some would say that's bad, look at Audi, the A4, A6 & A8 all look nearly identical except for scale. Hyundai hasn't built a car yet that I'd buy, but this new car has nice lines and the grille is distinctive, not fussy like Korean cars of the past...
