VIDEO: Rapper T.I. Shows Off His Rides — You Buying It?

VIDEO: Rapper T.I. Shows Off His Rides — You Buying It?
Oh so many years ago MTV had a show called MTV Cribs. Plenty of superstar singers, athletes, rappers and Hollywood A-listers appeared on the program to show off their homes and rides.

Though, it was clear after a little bit that some folks didn't own the homes or the cars.

You could tell as they were talking about a subject and seemingly knew nothing about "their" stuff. One of my favorite incidents happened with then big-time rapper 50 Cent who was showing off "his" Ferrari collection in front of his Connecticut estate, which was formerly owned by Mike Tyson. Soon after the episode aired, some folks on FerrariChat revealed the cars actually belonged to a well-known collector in the community.

Don't believe everything you see.

So when I see T.I. spitting about "his" rides that all look stock and are in neutral color combinations two things come to mind: manufacturers marketing cars or dealer cars. Note that none of the license plates can be found AND that none have been customized.

Perhaps I am overreacting. Either way, check out T.I.'s rides in his promo for Need for Speed, in which he appears, below!

On Vevo 'Let It Ride' we go to Atlanta for an exclusive interview with T.I. about his impressive car collection. Surrounded by his favorite whips, he tells fans about how his uncle used to pick him up in a turquoise Porsche with LL Cool J's "Going Back To Cali" cranking. The superstar MC was 14 when he bought his own first car, a 1985 Cutlass Supreme. He shows us his Rolls-Royce Ghost, and a full-loaded Range Rover Autobiography, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee (it's all about "velocity" he says). T.I. sees cars as an "extension of a man's personality."

Are you saying that he cant afford that stuff? Whatever the case may be he has more than you.

Stop being a bitter jealous hater. And it's always folks like T.I that you seem to have issues with their wealth. Why is that? I mean look at the list of people that you mentioned in your article. It's always some Rapper or Ball player that you seem have issues with. Can you be anymore transparent?

CarreraS, Can you tell everyone what "N.L" stands for? Just come out and say it, instead of being a punk. Tell everyone that your White Devil ass is calling me a "Nigger Lover". Its racist scum like you that makes the rest of the planet hate Americans. Enjoy your hate filled, 18th century mentality, devilish existence. You will never ever be as successful as that "Nigger" T.I. Thats gotta burn your racist pants?

Hilarious, LexSucks is mocking another poster for being racist scum...by calling them White Devil. And who are you to claim that the rest of the planet hates Americans? You mean hate our freedoms, hate the fact we can do and say whatever we want without fear of retribution?

Hey idiot, last time I checked this was an American-created, American-run and American-hosted site, if you don't like it why don't you take your sorry ass elsewhere!

Please, just ban this fool already.

T.I. is an Atlanta-based rapper, producer, author, actor and CEO who has a net worth of $75 million. Since entering the music business in 2001, T.I has released nine studio albums and earns a minimum of $110,000 per show. T.I. is also the founder and CEO of Grand Hustle Records and a successful actor. He has starred in several films and television shows including "Takers", "ATL", "American Gangster" and "Boss" in addition to his own show on VH1 and most recently "Single Ladies".

Bottom Line- Whether the cars are his or not, he could more than afford them with a swipe of the almighty AMEX Black Card

Now start exposing some of these wall Street Bankers whom made bad bets and are still paying for it after the damage done in 2008, or couples across America trying to create illusions of wealth like "Joe and Teresa" from NJ housewives, whom are about to serve time in Prison for bank fraud and embezzlement.

Lay off the rappers a bit is all I'm saying...

@monopoly1

One of the things we pride ourselves on here at AutoSpies is that we actually can afford the cars we drive. Clearly you're a passerby.

He's currently staring on the Showtime Hit show "House of Lies". Sunday evening primetime cable show. Agent00R is a hater and something else that I'm not even going to mention. It's obvious that he has issues with certain people obtaining success. I'll bet me life that Agent00R is a republican.

Show me any post where you're admiring a rappers or an Athletes success. You're always trying to call B.S to their activities. And besides, Why do you even care? And why do you think that other people care?

Because they don't want me to. You on the other hand? Your days here are numbered, well maybe not. The folks that run this site appears to like your racism? You're the first person who I've ever seen here reference the word "Nigger". But for some reason it wasn't deleted and no one said anything about it. That speaks volumes about the people that run this place. Enjoy.

They said 'N.L'....which YOU interpreted to be something. Actually no one even said that word except you, and you're the only one going on and on and on about racism....while calling someone "white devil".

Pretty sure that's racist.

You guys are all idiots.

I never claimed he couldn't afford them. Not one bit.

I was saying in a very straightforward way that these don't look like personal cars as it's a silly promo for Need for Speed the all-new movie.
