DRIVEN + VIDEO: The McLaren P1 + Flames + Dubai + A Racetrack — How GOOD Can It Be?

One of 2014s most incredible automobiles is the all-new McLaren P1. It's everything you'd expect it to be in a car built to go as fast as possible around a track.

What it isn't is a car that represents the old-school F1 that still is regarded as one of the best all-around automobiles ever. That car seemed to have a better handle on luxury. Granted, we are stretching it a bit in the definition of luxury there.

That said, the boys and girls over at Evo Magazine have been chompin' at the bit to get behind the wheel of this gnarly beast. Rightfully so, as it's incredibly powerful and may go down in history as one of the world's greatest thing with four wheels. Who knows what the future will bring?

It's really crazy how much flame spitting this car does.

I can understand on a shift but jeez it looks like the flame is pouring out on acceleration!
