Question Of The Day: What Car Would You Buy If You Won The Lottery?

A mechanic and racing enthusiast was revealed this week as the winner of a £107.9million lottery jackpot - and he says the money will go towards a fantasy garage.

Surrey-based car mechanic Neil Trotter said he would sell his Ford Focus to buy a fleet of supercars, adding, "I'm going to need a lot of garage space at the new house."

I'd rather donate 20%~30% of what I won, so that I can at least contribute something to help the middle class families of the United States of America and, if I were to buy some cars, then hmm, I would only buy the best cars out there. Let's see.

Lexus LS600h L, Lexus LX570, Lexus RC-F, Lincoln Navigator and GMC Yukon.

Ya, that's about it. The best automobiles ;)

I guess negative attention is better than no attention.

Well, the cash value of his winnings is roughly half of the jackpot and then you HAVE TO "donate" another half of what you have left to the government (which will distribute it to the needy in form of a welfare.)
So if you still want to donate 30% (I guess of what's left),you end up with about 16mln,not nearly enough for a real fleet of supercars and a big house to fit them all in.
Then it's a matter of being able to maintain all of that.....

I think "car" should be changed to "cars". I think I would buy a LS 460, CTS-V (when it comes out), and a few others. Nothing extravagant.

- Mclaren P1 or Ferrari LaFerrari (waiting for a comparison)
- Mercedes S-class (magic body control)
- Range Rover Sport
- Mazda MX-5 Miata

These 4 cover the entire range of most people's automotive needs.

A new G-Wagen to replace the old '92 model I have now. That'll do for me. Which one? Oh, the Brabus 800 6x6, of course. Can't believe you had to ask!

I wouldn't blow it on super cars or a fleet for sure. Main reason being is I get sick of them. House in vail... A caddy for summers and a jeep or rover defender for fun and snowy winter days.

Just one super car, not a fleet of supercars - a pretty heavily loaded Cayman S. I guess I would keep one larger sedan around when people just had to be driven around, the Quattroporte is pretty sexy.

I would just maintain a rotating stable of hot chicks, bending them over my sofa and going back and forth hammering them from behind while eating a McRib.

Koenigsegg Agera R and an everyday Jag XJ.
