NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: RUMOR! Nissan Said To Be Packing A Refreshed Versa For NYC
Although it may not be one of the world's most exciting cars, the Nissan Versa is one of the cheapest. Sure, it may feel a bit tinny and when you read the window sticker things like an air conditioning system and a tilt steering wheel are pointed out to be "premium" features, but the point is to keep costs down.

I don't think there is a cheaper new car on the market.

Of course that means it's a great car to have in a big urban environment. You don't have to worry about anything and if it gets damaged who really cares? Perhaps this is the real people's car.

That said, it's time for the Nissan Versa to get a refresh. It's that time in the product lifecycle. According to the word on the street, it will be appearing for the first time at the New York Auto Show in only a couple of weeks. As its a refresh not much is expected to change aside from some subtle styling changes, and hopefully, some upgraded interior trim.

The problem with the Versa is its styling. There is no reason for an inexpensive car to look ugly. At least the Chevy Spark attempts to look quirky and fun.

I can't believe you got deboosted while being so right. I like Nissan but the Versa looks like a taxi cab from Bogota or Buenos Aires.

The problem with the Versa is that it's a POS. Should be taken out of production and shot.
