General Motors CEO Testimony Was So Pathetic That It Becomes A SNL Parody

The performance of General Motors CEO Mary Barra was satirized by "Saturday Night Live" and Jon Stewart, with both programs playing up the fact that the company has been unable to answer many questions about its recall of 2.6 million vehicles linked to at least 13 deaths and 32 crashes.

During the four-minute opening "Saturday Night Live" skit, the actress playing Barra repeatedly couldn't answer questions about the recall of Cobalt, Ion and other older compact cars, including when she learned of the problem: "That's part of our investigation," the actress playing Barra (Kate McKinnon) said. "I am looking into knowing when I first knew about it but I won't know the results of that knowing until I know for sure."

Get a life Bob. Obama didn't hand pick the GM's executives. Bush saved the the auto industry, so I'm sure it is his hand that the GM is now dealing out.

One thing is clear. General Motors and Toyota, the biggest auto companies of the United States and Japan both have collapsed. The reputation of Toyota/Lexus has been utterly tarnished by sudden unintended acceleration issues and boring cars that exist in both Toyota and Lexus lineup. And the General Motors' reputation is now as good as non-existent, because of bailout and ignition problems.

On the other hand, the Germans like Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi keep doing better and better every year, it is as though, sky is the limit for them. Overall, the European luxury automakers are doing better than ever every year.

All I can say is, it is purely sad to see the biggest Japanese and the American automakers struggling so hard right now.

There is only one US automaker that is run by talented, strategic, and competent management...that is FORD.

Let's vote with our feet, people...away from GM and into a Ford. Have you driven a Ford lately?
