REVIEW: BMW 335i coupe
With its twin-turbocharged and 300-horsepower engine, the 2007 BMW 335i is a wonderful car for the enthusiast driver. But this coupe also provides room for those riding in the back seat. And there's "snow" worries: the new 3 Series coupe is available with all-wheel xDrive.

It's growing on me quick. However, for the outgoing M3 it will always be a classic design to me. It will always look good whether it's an 'old' design or not. I think it will look more aggressive than the new one coming out. But we'll see the final product and perhaps then i'll change my mind.

I have been trying to admire BMW's interior since I was a kid and it has eluded me. BMW exterior are excellent, but the interior are too simplistic for my taste.

as far as interiors, they should go back to the E39/E46 interior styling. Those interiors are just perfect, imo. I have an E39, and i wouldnt switch to E60 just for that reason. (although the exterior of the E60 is aggresive)

I absolutely love the minimalistic, clutterless and elegant interiors of the current BMWs. I actually own 3, so Im not speaking virtually, like some of you here.

The styling has grown on me too. I used to think it was a bit "lacking in something", but the way it looks in that first picture made it clear to me that the new 3-series coupe is an elegant car. Not as classy as the last generation, but still elegant. 335i sounds impressive, though I'd be happy with the 330i.

I am in love with the car but think the taillights should be bigger

This is a great looking car. Wish there were pictures of a black one!

BimmerFan:

You don't have to own 3 BMWs to decide whether you like the interior design or not.

What's the deal with those backseat center "consoles"? They're so ugly and useless.

Is this some legal dept angle to keep BMW from being sued by middle back seat (unbelted) people who go thru the windshield in a crash?

I think those consoles are claustrophobic and useless, please make them go away.

The interior is one segment where BMW will NEVER dethrone Audi. The BMW philosophy to interiors is too minimalistic and sparse to EVER challenge Audi's more sound ergonomic approach.

Awful interiors. I am searching for words to describe Bangle's mind but I came up short b/c his design sucks. You have to pay 55K+ for that ? I am sure there are every rich people and not so rich ppl who like to show off the BMW logo but I will never pay 50K for the sucky design.

Pardon my ignorance...but is the 335 going to come out in the sedan as well? Or will it remain the 330?

vcowman, i think the 3ers useable rear seat is a a big selling point.
think about it, 2 cars, 2 kids, you need 2 4 seaters. my family does, it is the first thing we need. rules out z4, boxster etc, no matter how much we want one.
