NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: A New Look For Both The Challenger And Charger- Which Looks Better To You?

Chrysler Introduced pair of key vehicles in New York this week in the new Charger and Challenger.

Both appeal to similar audiences with distinct features. After looking over both models we can see the evolution continue and both represent key improvements. However there is a bit of discussion around the office about which one looks better? Do the classsic lines of the Challenger still hold true? Or does the Charger take it a bit too far?

Styling is a pivotal factor for buyers these day but did the Mopar designers leave anything out?

Challenger looks waaaay better! This new refreshed Charger looks horrible!

I think that they both look great. I do however think that most buyers of either one of these would be able to figure out that in fact it is not a garbage disposal behind that little door on the side of the car, but where the gas goes. That being the case, I am not sure why Dodge felt the need to label it as "FUEL". They need to give their customers a little more credit. Kind of reminds me of how Pontiac (remember them?) continued to proudly display that their cars had "ABS" several years after ABS had been on the market. I am glad that Dodge did not need to put a "Fuel Injected" label on the trunk, but they should remove the label from the gas door. it detracts from the otherwise great looks of the cars.

I am guessing it's a nod to the original Challenger? But yeah not really necessary but I don't think it's that bad. I like the Challenger updated but the new front on the Charger just looks out of place.
