NEW YORK AUTO SHOW EXCLUSIVE! MORE Easter Surprises! FIRST REAL-LIFE Pics Of The 2015 Lexus NX 300h!
By this point you're probably thinking that you've seen everything there is to see about the 2015 Lexus NX. Not quite. Although Lexus put an NX 200t F Sport upstairs front and center, folks may miss out that they also had an NX 300h located in the basement of the Jacob K. Javits Center.
Of course, we shot it inside and out as well to make sure we covered all the bases, and to ensure YOU got the very best coverage.

The hybrid variant downstairs is cool to see because it is sporting the vehicle's standard trim. This means it lacks the F Sport-specific seats on the interior. In addition, we also got to see the interior upholstered in a classy, peanut butter colored leather.
Though I am not ready to place a bet, it's a pretty educated guess that when the NX hits showrooms, most that will get sold will likely be in the vehicle's standard trim.
That said, feast your eyes below!

To answer the question as to whether the spindle grille could get any uglier...YES! What is with the electronics box and wires so unprotected under the car? Surely that cannot be a good thing.

It's a pre-production show car on a stand. We've seen similar set ups before.

I think the box hanging under the rear is a DC power supply or battery charger to keep everything powered up while on display. But yeah, it should have been tucked up better...

That's to power up the car in a show. Battery has to be disconnected because it's a fire hazzard. That one comment show's how little you know.....

If the public were to see that, they would have a radically different view. Dumb move to have anything look unfinished.

I believe the is finished the picture of the transformer is the power the electric's while on display. Merc and bmw do the same.

Personally, I am not a fan of the small SUVs but I have a feeling this is going to be another success story just like the RX. It might even cannibalize sales from the RX.

It will cannibalize sales from the RX because many of the elderly people who drive or are in the market for the RX may see how much smaller and easier the NX is drive even though it's a much, much uglier vehicle. So you may see a lot more of these NXs in the retirement communities as opposed to RXs in the near future.

Well, there's no question that this specific segment is going to heat up considerably. With the GLA, Q3, and NX joining the X1 and QX50 (not sure if Infiniti's offering is even relevant anymore not that I'm sure it ever was), it's going to be ultra competitive.

I hope like IS it ends up being a bit tamer on the road which would be a good thing.

The spindle grille gets better and better with each version.
The NX looks like a hit for Lexus, but no ship date or price range?

Like nobody tried to copy the RX!!! You guy's should go on a cooking or sewing site. You know nothing about car's or the car business. You just know you hate Lexus.

I think we need one more story about the NX from autospies. Jeesh, there are 3 or 4 up right now. Talk about overkill.
