AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: 2008 Ford Escape

Snapped these pics in Lima Ohio. A dozen engineers stopped in for lunch and I snapped these. I didn't get the front of the exterior, but it was highly masked and overall, not much different than the new Explorer front. As you can see, the exterior is a lot bigger, but still shorter than the explorer. Probably since the CRV has upped the ante in size.

The Interior seems very similar to the Ford Fuzion, which is better.

Seems like a good alternative to the CRV, but not something to drop everything and run out to see the thing.

I had an '01 Ford Escape in 2001, I liked it, it was cool. But after an accident and it flipping over, I suddenly lost my appeal for SUV's...so Im not all that thrilled either.

The only thing this vehilce may have going for it is only if it gets 40 MPG...Other than that....yamn....
