SPIED + VIDEO: BMW's Next-Gen X1 Geting WRUNG OUT At The Nürburgring
Though it may seem like the BMW X1 just arrived on our shores — it kinda did — it appears that the Bavarians are already working on the next-gen vehicle. That's because the X1 is ancient in Europe while BMW dragged its feet to get it to the States.

As you can see below the vehicle is in relatively early stages of development. The body is completely covered in swirly camouflage, but there isn't any heavy duty cladding.

What is interesting to note is the vehicle's overall stance, which is strikingly low. It almost looks like a standard wagon. In addition, note the large, flanking intakes. Turbo power, anyone?

Catch anything else, Spies?

The current X1 is a strange product for the USA. In size and price it is too similar to the X3 and simply is not memorable looking.

They need to make the X1 a little larger so they can slot in the smaller, entry level X0.
