Tesla Pushes Back Model X Crossover Until 2015
EV fans are going to have to exercise patience as the highly-anticipated electric crossover won't be ready until 2015. Tesla has sent a letter to shareholders urging them to wait a little bit longer for the next model in its fledgling lineup, with CEO Elon Musk revealing the carmaker has “just completed the final studio release” of the Model X.

Production prototypes of the all-electric crossover will be ready by the end of the year, with the production model expected to be launched at the start of 2015. Limited in numbers at first, production of the Tesla Model X will be ramped up later in the year.
