Could BMW's i9 Be The 4-Door Sportscar Of The Future?
With German media reporting that BMW could roll out a four-door sportscar named the i9 as early as 2016, it’s time for the renderings to begin. It's expected to employ a similar hybrid approach, while improving technology to offer better performance and lower emissions.

Looks a bit hard to get into those rear doors. I know it's just a rendering but

I know know about this one...probably not a big market for it. Look how well the Aston Martin Doorstop (sorry, Rapide) has NOT been selling!

However - BMW should totally come out with an i8 cabriolet. They would sell a ton of those. Keep the 4-place (sort of) seating, drop the top....nobody will buy an Audi R8 ever again. It would be genius. The i8 is priced perfectly for what it is.

Heck, they will probably sell more i8's than i3's.
