Wow at this rate, Mercedes may be able to overtake both Bimmer and Audi around the same time period within the next 2-5 yrs.

With an All New C Class and E Class due before the competition, and they keep significantly outpacing their rivals in China, Mercedes could take its spot once again at the top of the sales throne after a decade off...not bad

Car4Life, you are assuming that Audi and BMW will be sitting still while Mercedes-Benz launches its model onslaught - they definitely won't!

Audi's brand-new aggressive and differentiated A4 and Q7 are on the horizon slated to debut in 2015. Although the Mercedes-Benz CLA beat the Audi A3 Sedan to market, the A3 Sedan has been widely regarded as the better overall car in many comparison tests and even outsold the CLA in the U.S. for April. Just because the new Mercedes-Benz C-class will launch before the Audi A4, doesn't mean it will outsell the A4.

Audi also has the Q1, Q4, Q6 and Q8 SUVs confirmed for production and possibly an A9 flagship luxury coupe (a Mercedes-Benz S-class Coupe Competitor).

Audi is certainly going to challenge for the top spot and I think it will be able to dethrone BMW for the top spot as early as 2015 or 2016.

GermanNut...we will believe it when we see it...according to you the A8, A6, and A4 were all supposed to be these spectacular, mind blowing products, that would win American hearts over their rivals...news flash they haven't.

In fact Audi has trouble staying ahead of Caddy, Infiniti, and Acura in the states.

With Mercedes rapidly establishing themselves in China, Audi's saving grace, you better hope that A4 is nothing shore of ground breaking...which I doubt...remember, the A4 will always be closely related to the Jetta

Wow GermanNut manages to post a BMW article with a negative comment in favour of Audi in the headline AGAIN.

I'd laugh if it weren't so pathetic.
