DRIVEN + VIDEO: Jay Leno Walks YOU Through His All-New McLaren P1 — Already Clocked Over 1,000 Miles

As we've said many times over, this is an exceptional year when it comes to supercars. Though there's been many tests of the all-new Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari, there all sort of lacking. That's because a lot of the drivers don't exactly have clout.

Essentially, they don't have the laundry list of supercars driven under their belt to make claims like "It's the best supercar, ever." You know, all of that hyperbole.

Now Jay Leno, on the other hand, is someone who's driven just about anything with wheels. That's why when he makes a statement about an auto, it's not a bad idea to listen. If that wasn't true, I doubt McLaren's CEO would have made the pilgrimage to Leno's garage to talk shop.

We were enthralled when he snapped up an all-new McLaren P1. According to reports, he is rumored to be the first to take delivery in the States.

So, now's the time where we kick back and see what 'ol Jay has to say about the all-new supercar.

Eh, Chris Harris? Steve Sutcliffe? Steve has driven all three whilst many have driven two of them... this is just to add to their daily chores of testing super cars as well as GTs and normal road cars. In this regard, I think I would take Chris and Steve's opinion more seriously. Whilst Jay has a higher profile (hence visit from CEO), I think even he knows that he is not the ultimate authority on the subject as he even propped Chris Harris in the episode.
