VIDEO: Nissan's Latest NISMO Car Makes Its Debut Among The People
Late last week you may recall I posted a story and photo gallery related to Nissan's new NISMO car, the 2015 370Z NISMO. As we've seen in previous 370Z NISMOs, this vehicle is the standard Z cars more sporting sibling.

That means it gets a power bump, some aerodynamic modifications and, overall, features a stiffer and more track-ready feel. For less than $50,000, we reckon it's tough to top this car when it comes to a raw, rear-wheel drive experience.

For 2015, Nissan has done a bit more work to make this product more unique than the NISMO Zs of the past. And what better place to show the new kit off than at a Z gathering? ZDayZ was the venue of choice as it is a significant gathering of Z cars. Think of it as the Bimmerfest of Zs.

If the photos we provided weren't enough to satiate your needs, then perhaps the video clip below will suffice.

FONTANA DAM, North Carolina -- Fans at the annual ZDayZ gathering in North Carolina had a world-class view of the Great Smokey Mountains, and were among the first to see the 2015 Nissan 370Z NISMO.

A nice enhancement of the 370z design. Has NISMO character without going too far over the top.

The 370z is a great car that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Admittedly, the interior technology features aren't up to 2014 standards, but that really isn't what this car is about. It's a visceral driving experience that occupies a unique niche in the affordable sports car category. Personally, I love the 370z styling. Somehow it manages to borrow from the 911 while remaining unique, devoid of even the least bit of retro. Looks are subjective, but I, personally, much prefer the Z over the cartoonish, oversized Hot Wheels look of the Camaro, the oddly tall Challenger, the ubiquitous Mustang.
