Ford Has No Plans To Send Lincoln Europe - Is It Because They Fear The German Wolf Pack?

Ford is set to boost Lincoln, but has no plans to sell the US luxury brand in Europe, company boss Alan Mulally has told Autocar. 

"Lincoln will be great. We are now investing in Lincoln but we’re going to focus on the US and China," he said.

Ford launched Lincoln in China last month and showed the new MKX SUV concept at the Beijing motor show. The MKX previews a new global SUV based on the Ford Edge that's tipped to go into production within the next 18 months.

They know that Lincoln=Mercury and that the Germans would laugh. Hell, the Germans laugh at the Cadillac ATS and CTS that have equalled them. Not one German is dumb enough to buy a Lincoln Escape, Lincoln Fusion, or a Lincoln Taurus. Hell, not even Americans are without massive cash incentives at the dealer.
