VIDEO: So, What Do People REALLY Think Of The All-New BMW 2-Series Active Tourer?
One of the things about being SO into this industry is that it's very easy to become jaded and completely miss the point about all-new products. To really be effective in this space you have to consistently remind yourself who the consumer is.

FYI, no one really does that anymore.

A publication in the U.K. has a great segment we like to follow, however. Put together by What Car?, the auto pub gets together its readership for previews of all-new products. Considering the all-new 2-Series Active Tourer is a highly polarizing and controversial product, we were interested in seeing consumer feedback. In addition, we're also intrigued by what YOU think after you scope out this clip.

You mean aside from the fact it looks like a Kia Carens? This is a necessary evil for BMW. It will be stupidly priced and will sell.

A new chapter in automobile design is upon us. The change is being propelled by governmental directives and regulations. Efficiency, practicality and versatility are now primary objectives.

One of the better looking vehicles in that market segment so far. Better than the Buick or Ford C-Max for sure. Agree that it will probably priced high.

It is a high-end econobox. The irony is that VW has a vehicle like this that would probably sell more than the slow selling Golf but they won't bring it over.

If I were in the market for this type of car I would definitely buy it...had a Mini and the engineering and safety of BMW design was outstanding saving my life when T boned by a soccer mom in a big SUV !

why pay for 50k for a honda fit competitor ? simple, because if i like the fit but dont want to be seen in one, then this is a great alternative, just as if you like the chrysler 300 but dont want to be seen in one, you get the maserati ghibili :)

Whatever it is, it needs a new name, like AT2 or something.

If it were a Toyota, Mazda, Kia, Honda, Hyundai, we wouldn't pay any attention to that thing.
