SPIED: NEW Shots Of BMW's All-New 2-Series Convertible Leaves LITTLE To The Imagination
As the BMW 2-Series arrives in dealers' hands, one would probably notice relatively quick that only the coupe is out so far. And if you follow the 1-Series' lineage there was a convertible variant for those seeking fun in the sun.

Like most BMW product launches, the hard top model debuts first followed by the drop top approximately one to two years post introduction. Well, it appears the rag top isn't far behind when it comes to the 2-Series. The only reason we know this is because the vehicle's been spotted undergoing testing with extremely limited camouflage.

Let's be honest here...what's to hide? There is very little differentiation from one BMW to the next already, so how different could it be?

Pictures don't do the 2-series justice. When I first saw one at the dealer (228i with the M package in Estoril Blue and another in Silver), it totally caught me off guard in a way the 4-series did not. It is far better looking in person and is differentiated in key ways from the 4-series, which looks huge by comparison. I will also say the 3GT doesn't look so great in person, even loaded up with options, and it is not selling well either.

Looks like a slightly face lifted one series.
