New Lancia to take on EVO, WRX and GT-R
Much like every other enthusiast in the world, there's a list of vehicles that never made it to our shores, yet we're compelled to lust from afar. Ever since we stumbled across a World Rally Championship race at an impressionable age, the Lancia Delta Integrale has made that list.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, the Delta dominated the WRC, with over 40 victories and six Constructors Championships under its belt. Much like every other gravel-bound racer, its beginnings were more pedestrian rather than performer and the adaptation to rally duty involved adding four-wheel drive, throwing a turbo onto the 1.6L engine and fashioning a rear diff that borrowed heavily from McLaren's F1 developments.

With that lineage in mind, we were excited to find out that the Italian automaker plans on unveiling a new Delta concept during the Biennale del Cinema di Venezia next week in its home country.

Wow! THAT IS BEAUTIFUL! I was quite sleepy when I scrolled down, but when I saw the picture, I was instantly awakened. Wow!

Now if only Lancia or Alfa came to the US. I know Lancia is struggling in Europe but their designs are just amazing. I've always had a soft spot for the Lancia Thesis and Gamma.

RiceMaster: You really don't know much about cars.
"reliability issues from an unproven make." If memory service me correct if Lancia and Audi back in the 70's and 80's didn't make Intergrale Delta HF and the Quattro, there wouldnt be and Evo X or Scoobies. Lancia are like all other italian make. Beautiful to look at, stonking drivers car and midly temperamental. Would you have it any other way ?

BMW530i:
Yeah, the Thesis is quite nice. Too bad 99.9% of people in the U.S haven't heard of it.
