In YOUR Opinion Which Manufacturer Has Produced THE MOST LOSERS In History? And Let's NAME NAMES!
No auto company is perfect and throughout the years each one has had its share of mistakes. Do the names Pontiac Aztek, Chrysler Sebring, Renault Le Car, AMC Hornet, Ford Pinto all ring a bell?

We could go on for a long time naming names but we would prefer hearing from the experts. YOU!

Lots have launched some real stink bombs but only ONE company can own the crown for building the MOST.

So please make you list and tell us WHICH manufacturer has produced the MOST losers in history and what models took the crown for you as the biggest stinkers?

Ladies and gentlemen, start your choice/choices of the WORST of the WORST!

For me Citroen and Peugeot are at the top of the heap for sheer ugliness historically and that makes them losers to me despite the French buying eyesores like the puke worthy Citroen DS. The garbage British Leyland churned out was epic, making them losers to me. Fiat/Alfa Romeo/Maserati have turned out a lot of garbage for quality crap in the past.

As for actual cars I think are losers: Honda Crosstour, Acura ZDX, Nissan Cube and Juke, any Toyota with a TuRD decal on the side.

When it comes to making junk, no one can do it better than the Americans.

Chrysler has the history of making tons of unsafe/unreliable junk to the customers, Ford is usually known as Fix or Repair Daily, and GM? Well, we all know what is going on at General Motors now. It is as though, the Americans are competing against each other, in order to be the ultimate junk makers.

Thanks to all this, even the American consumers themselves know why only some uneducated, patriotic Americans would buy something American nowadays. How did Lexus replace Cadillac and become an American status symbol (When it is Japanese)? Actually wait, "who" wants Cadillac or Lincoln, except for some Americans?

And the most laughable part. Britain has Range Rover (So many celebrities drive this). Germany has Mercedes G Wagon (Same. Seen way too many celebrities driving one of those). Japan has Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX (This thing can go anywhere, and will never break). All off-road capable, massive trucks with reputation.

....and America used to have Hummer, but no one really wanted it, so it died out. Funny, isn't it.

And to point out even more, the cars that can be considered losers:

Cadillac ELR, Chrysler 200, Hummer, Buick, etc.

While the Ford Pinto may certainly qualify as a 'mistake' - based on design flaws, the resulting deaths and subsequent lawsuits - by no means was it a sales stinker.

The public loved them. Ford sold a huge quantity before everything changed for the worse after the faulty gas tank design came to light.

Ford, Chrysler, GM. No Question. Which one of the 3 made the most junk is matterless.

Ford/defunct Mercury/Lincoln...many failures...Pinto, several generations of Mustang, those huge floaty, bouncy Lincolns, current Ford Edge and Escape and their overly-priced rebadges of those failed platforms by Lincoln. Those weird-ass Lincoln MKX/MKZ things...just horrible!

And, yes, I would have to agree all American cars suck...but not until after the 1960s...before then, America made people fall in love with the automobile. From the 70s forward, it was all trash. I have been driving since 1971, and I have never owned an American car.

GM, hands down. Every single thing they made in the 80's absolutely sucked.
