RENDERED SPECULATION: If Lexus Were To JUMP Into The Four-Door Coupe Game, Would THIS "RC GT" Do It For YOU?

RENDERED SPECULATION: If Lexus Were To JUMP Into The Four-Door Coupe Game, Would THIS
When I think of automakers trying to be cutting edge, my mind doesn't think of the stupid concepts like the Volkswagen Beetle buggy thing or another stupidly powerful station wagon. I think of these new niches being created.

Since the advent of the Mercedes-Bnez CLS it seems more than ever people want a cool looking car. The average four-door sedan is now "square."

With cars as gorgeous as the Audi A7, BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe and Aston Martin Rapide, it's hard to argue that point. When we think of who's next to join the four-door coupe party, the Japanese players have seemingly sat this round out. Where is Infiniti and Lexus, already? Though Subaru showed off that sexual WRX Concept at the New York Auto Show, we saw how that ended — badly.

Well, it turns out that the Photoshop wizard, Theophilus Chin, has been toiling away on a Lexus RC four-door coupe he's dubbed the RC GT.

And you know what, it looks SOLID.

Of course, only one question remains: does Lexus have the brass to pull this off or is this simply a dream that will never crystallize?

Although the rendering looks nice but luxury 4 door coupes are typically larger. (such as bmw gran coupe, cls, a7 etc.)
It won't have as much presence in smaller frame.

Using GS chassis is much more feasible.

they'd have to get away from the dog face that is plastered on almost all of their current vehicles. profile is okay for a photo shop job and that's being generous. without a real performance engine, this would just be a poser.

or should that be spelled poseur??? hmm... regardless... without some hp and tq, it'll be no better than the GS line.

Hell yes!!! Put that 450+ V-8 in there and it will compete with the porsche panamera.

Sadly, Lexus doesn't make anything that looks good to me :-(

It used to be that Lexus's greatest sin was that they were conservatively styled. Today, they're unattractive to many. Who are they catering to?
