I think there's a universal sigh when an automaker comes out and says "Hey, we're going to be building a sport-utility vehicle." It's not that people hate them — sales prove that point — but SUVs are considered the ultimate culprit in diminishing a brand's history, especially if they are levered up on the whole sports car thing.
While Bentley may not exactly build sports cars, the company is known for its racing history that oozes in all of its products.
Though Bentley currently is racing an all-new car, the Continental GT3, and it is
producing a GT3 road car, it is also in the process of developing an SUV. We all saw the concept at one of the big auto shows but now this is the real deal.
As you can see its exterior seems to be a mish mash of the Land Rover Range Rover, Porsche Cayenne and the new Flying Spur. On the inside, it appears to have more of a Continental GT feel with the wing-inspired dash. Though the pictures' perspective is a bit limited, it's clear there is a TFT display that serves as the instrument cluster.
Right now these are easily the most telling and BEST shots out there of the upcoming Bentley SUV.
