If You Had The Money To Buy Your FATHER A New Ride, WHICH Would He Want MOST And WHY?

So the pressure's on everyone with Father's Day looming tomorrow. We're sure the regular stuff is planned like a nice meal and a gift (some great Fathers Day gift ideas here!) but what if you had the funds to REALLY blow him away with a new ride?

Tell us WHICH ride you would surprise him with but also tell us if HE was choosing WHICH one he would want MOST?

And tell us why you would choose your car and why he would choose his? What IS it about THOSE vehicles that speak you you and him?

Would it be something NEW or a golden OLDIE? Which car or truck makes Dad drool MOST?

My Dad passed in 1992 but as a kid even though he was a staunch Dodge/Chrysler large sedan guy, he always told me if he had the $$$ it would be a Porsche 911.

Tough one because his husband got a Cadillac CTSV because my dad liked it. Something that flashy is rare for my dad who has always seen cars in the light of value and longevity. I'd like to get him something like a Maserati Ghibli, but the reality is that he loves the Veloster he drives. So...new Veloster Turbo.

If I had the funds, I'd get him a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible. Though he's a Germanphile, he's always been a fan of American muscle, specifically the Corvette. When I stopped in with one all he could say while staring was "Are you kidding me!?"

Last we spoke he was really raving about the Porsche Panamera. He digs the look and sporty drive, but he could fit four adults — either family or clients for business purposes.

Austin Healey 3000, just like the one he sold, and bought a station wagon right after my brother & I were born.
