GM Recalls Yet Another 3.36 Million More Cars For Deadly Ignition Switch Defect
General Motors recalled another 3.36 million vehicles worldwide Monday for a problem the company has linked to eight crashes and six injuries. That brings the total number of cars recalled by the company this year to more than 20 million.

The new recall affects cars from model years 2000 through 2014. The ignition switch can move out of the run position, turning off power steering and power braking while the car is being driven. Extra weight on the key chain can jostle the ignition when the vehicle strikes something in the road like a pothole.

I am (believe it or not), a hardcore American automobile industry supporter, and that is the reason why I "love" to bash GM, Ford and Chrysler like non-stop. Not because I hate them (If I hated, I wouldn't even care), but because love them.

I hope more and more American consumers and the U.S. government wake up to the fact that GM, Ford and Chrysler ignored the consumers all for the sake of profit, and it is about time the Big 3 of America became greater than ever. They need to be bashed, all the way to the point that they actually care about safety.

I'm tired of the American cars always being called junk by the Europeans. So, until the Big 3 is great again, I will keep calling the American cars "junk" like the Europeans do, all for the sake of the American automobile companies.

A "DEADLY" different problem- !!!!

It is actually a problem with the key fob - not the ignition switch - and has resulted so far in no deaths reported.
I have learned long ago that the HEADLINES at the "foreign" leaning auto reporters sites have long ago sped beyond reality.
