REVIEW: Edmunds.com reviews 2007 Infiniti G35

I can't help but think BMW performance with Lexus luxury. The paddle shifters, push button start/stop, navigation system, etc. look very reminicent of the IS 350. Don't get my wrong, I think this car looks really good. The inside is still cheap though. The seats look more like plastic than leather but other than that, no complaints.

G35 is the working man's BMW. Nothing wrong with that!

Infiniti does take performance more seriously than Lexus, which seems to fall on the Audi side of the fence with style and feel but not exactly aggressive.

8 and 7 are overkil imo. many people comment on the "hunting" of gears as it shifts up and down lots.
5 speed auto is ok, but 6 speed manual would be good.
but inifinit capitalising on japans history could be good, they could make them very japanese in concept and design.
hidden buttons and screens to make a very clean interior.

The picture of the seat looks like it has leg extenders and if that's the case I think thats friggin awesome as BMW sport seats equipped with the same extenders are about the most comfortable and supportive seats on the market!!

I hold Audi and Lexus in the same esteem, because I love their fit and finish. They are like luxury hotels. Yes, they are not as aggressive as BMW/Infiniti, but that's something I accept if I go that route. It depends on the mood you're in when you make that final purchase.
