AWESOME or AWFUL: VIDEO! Well, That's ONE Way To Help The Homeless...
You know, I hate to be "that guy," but the homeless problem in some cities is pretty awful. I am not saying everyone should be giving them a buck — as no one ultimately knows where it's spent — but perhaps there should be some sort of social program, that actually works, to help these folks get their feet under them.

Or, we could simply clean house as Mayor Rudy Giuliani did in New York City. If you've been to San Francisco recently, you'd know that something needs to be done.

But, one particularly interesting cat decided to take a different approach. He gave homeless people a ride in a 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

Yeah.

Personally, I am not quite sure how this helps or what the purpose of this was — except to make a "viral" video for self promotion — but it seems everyone included had a hell of a time. Maybe I am too cynical...

What say you, Spies?

Lookit me! I have a Lambo! Who knows, the guy could have rented it, or "borrowed" it (a la valet).

There's a saying that a strong man doesn't have to make a show of his muscles. The same goes for affluence. Guys who have a need for others to know how much moolah they have (or believe they have), are desperately trying to fill their internal voids with other's approval and validation.

"but perhaps there should be some sort of social program, that actually works, to help these folks get their feet under them."

In the United States, that is called "Socialism" also known as the "evil plan" of those bad bad red commies.

The United States is the country that worships the elites, and treats the poor as trash and thinks they are just "lazy".

And yet, this is the very same dumb country that criticizes the European royal families and their hierarchical society. Oh irony.

If you both feel so strongly about the situation, why don't you skip buying that next Infiniti and donate to a, or start a private program to solve the homeless situation. Why leave it up to the poorly managed government who will end up just wasting tax dollars instead of focusing on the issue they are tasked with solving,

And why should "you" ask anyone to donate a 50k car to begin with?

And I am supposed to start something, just because I have a different opinion that the majority of uneducated, moronic Americans would not agree with?

It is not "my" problem to solve the issues in the United States, as I do NOT even live in that third world country.

I am only here just laughing at those Americans going crazy over that "Made in Italy/Germany" machine like any Americans would.

Because if you think about it, who the hell gets excited over something like Cadillac or Lincoln?

Homelessness is a problem in all major cities, but worse in milder climates where surving harsh winters or summers is easier. Dallas has wven been called the "Homeless Capital of the World":

I think it was nice of him to do that. Maybe he could have done something more like pick ONE homeless person and actually help him/her, maybe find a job or a place to live, or both. We can't change the world but certainly can help ONE person.
