Across the States, the Honda Civic is renowned as one of the most commonly purchased autos. While that typically means it's a bore to drive and it's pretty sterile, that's not exactly the case with the Civic.

That's because there's several much more intense variants. One example is the Si; however, if you're in the market abroad you may have something else at your disposal.

That would be the Type R car.

Given that Honda recently showed off a Type R concept, it wanted to gauge interest among its Civic enthusiasts. So, it created a Honda gathering to see if it struck a chord with Honda fans.

Why they don't bring this car to the U.S., I'll never understand. I get that there's the whole emissions thing, but if they can make it work and bring that car here, I think it'll be a hit.
